Wainuia edwardi. A small redy brown snail. The center of the spiral is golden in colour. The shell is stuffed with cotton wool. The outer surface is slightly bumpy and have dents in the shell.

This is a small species of land snails. They are carnivorous. They eat worms and other snails but has also found some species to eat amphipods. They are re found in damp leaf litter and rock piles in unmodified forest. This makes them susceptible to habitat modification and predation.
