Starfish, Oar Brittle star

Ophiopteris antipodum. Oar Brittle star. A small delicate looking starfish. It is black in colour. It has a small central disc with five long thin stars. The legs are covered in spikes. The spikes lay out flat with the very top of the arm without any spikes.
