Starfish, Comb Star
Description
Astropecten polyacanthus. Comb star. A dried starfish. It has five pointed arms. The sides of the arms are covered in spikes. It is a light cream colour, possibly faded in the light and as part of the drying process. The upper surface has no spikes.
