She is wearing a cardigan and a hat. The unknown woman next to Mary is wearing a skirt, jacket or cardigan and a hat. She is smoking a cigarette and beside her is a walking stick. In the middle between the group there are bags, a flask and mugs.
Alice Barbara Sumner is the daughter of Dorothy Paradine Sumner (nee. Sadler) and James Cuthbert Sumner. Mary Sadler is Dorothy Sumner's sister.
