Description
Sericulus chrysocephalus. Common name: Regent bowerbird. It is a medium sized male bird. It is black and yellow in colour. The crown has a slight red to the yellow feathers. The yellow goes down the he back of the neck. The flight feathers are yellow. The feet are black and the beak is pale. The feathers on the head have an almost fluffy appearance and the black colouration is almost velvet.
