Dacnis cayana Common Name: Blue Dacnis
A small female bird. It is predominately green in colour with a light blue crown. The feathers have a slight sheen to them. The green of the belly is slightly brighter than the upper surface. The beak is black but the tip is broken off. The feet are pale.
