The woman is standing at the front of the boat. She is wearing a full length light toned dress and a dark toned hat. She is holding an oar on the left side of the boat with both hands. The man is behind the woman. He is wearing a dark toned suit with a light toned shirt and hat. He is also holding his oar with both hands but on the right side of the boat. Behind them is the far shore of the lake. It is lined with dense trees and foliage. To the left is a small hut with a pitched roof and an opening for an entrance.
