Medal, Indochina Campaign (1953)

Description
A French Indochina Campaign medal (Médaille de la Campagne d’Indochine). The circular gilt bronze medal features " INDOCHINE " marked on a plaque. A seven headed serpent is below the plaque, while a tricephalous elephant is above it. " REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE " is marked near the edge. The reverse features with a wreath of oak and laurel " CORPS EXPEDITIONNAIRE FRANÇAIS D’EXTREME-ORIENT " is marked around the edge. An ornamental dragon clasp sits atop the medal which is attached to a yellow and green vertically striped medal.
