A New Zealand Medal. The silver medal features a left facing profile of Queen Victoria on the obverse. " VICTORIA D:G:BRITT:REG:F.D " is marked around the edge of the profile. A wreath is featured on the reverse with " NEW ZEALAND VIRTUTIS HONOR " marked around the edge of it. " R. BAKER JUNR, TARANAKI VRS " is marked on the edge of the medal. " The suspension bar and ribbon are missing and a mount for a pin has been soldered onto the reverse but the pin is missing.
