Description
A Sheffield plate teapot with a round body and bulbous base. It has a short swan neck spout, question mark handle, hinged dome lid, and four small pierced ornate feet. It is decorated with scroll works extending from a plain centre. It has a grooved spout and handle topped with ornate thumb rest. The lid has scroll surround and is capped with a large leaf holding pumpkin-like object. " LEE & WIGFULL / SHEFFIELD / 04726 / 4 " is marked on the underside.
