Description
A German West Wall Medal. The oval bronzed brass medal features a crossed sword and a shovel, a German eagle atop a swastika and a bunker. The obverse is fringed by a wreath of oak leaves. " FUR / ARBEIT/ ZUM / SCHUTZE / DEUTSCH-/LANDS " is marked on the reverse fringed by a wreath of oak leaves. The medal is attached to a yellow ribbon with two thin white stripes by a simple suspension ring.
