 Description
A German Easter Winter Campaign Medal (Ostmedaille) . A circular zinc metal medal surmounted by a German helmet and stick grenade. A German eagle holding a swastika with a branch behind it features on the obverse side. The reverse is marked " WINTERSCHLACHT / IM OSTEN / 1941/42 " with a sword and branch crossed underneath it. A red medal with a thin white and black stripe running vertically down the centre.
