 Description
A German War Merit Cross (2nd Class). The bronze plated Maltese cross with flat edges and a pebbled centre. It also features a pair of crossed swords and a swastika and wreath at the centre. " 1939 " is marked on the reverse. A simple ring suspension attaches the cross to red, white and black striped ribbon.
