Glass plate negative showing a young child, possibly (Olive Mary Allen, known as Mollie) in a sandpit. The sandpit is enclosed within a timber framed structure that is covered in a possible wire mesh. The child is standing in the sandpit leaning against the enclosure with their hands on the wire mesh. The child is wearing light toned clothing. Behind the child is a small chair. Outside the enclosure there are two more people. Kneeling down in front of the child on the other side of the mesh is Syd Allen. He is wearing dark toned clothing. He has his hand up to the mesh in the same area as the child. Behind him, possibly seated, there is another person. This person is possibly a girl and is wearing light toned clothing.
