Description
A General Service Medal 1962. The silver medal features a left facing crowned profile of Queen Elizabeth II. " ELIZABETH II D: G: BR : OMN : REGINA F: D: " is embossed around the outside. The reverse features an oak wreath enclosing a crown. " FOR / CAMPAIGN / SERVICE " is embossed on the reverse. The medal is attached to a deep purple ribbon edged with green by a curved suspension bar. " MALAYA " is embossed on a clasp attached to the ribbon.
