A small piece of white/grey schist. It is long and thin. There is a silver shine to it.
Schist is a metamorphic rock. It is made up grains <1mm in size. It is made up of flattened minerals that are aligned to give the rock the slab appearance. Schist is categorised into texture zones depending on their change from a sedimentary rock to a metamorphic rock.
