A small fragment of andesite that is flat on the bottom and rounded on top. The rock is a pinkish colour with flecks of white and black rock. It has a glittery appearance.

them.

up
of
Andesite
and
is
one
of
the
perfect
examples
of
an
andesite
cone.
Some
of
the
Andesite
around
Taranaki
contains
olivine,
feldspar,
squat
augite
and
bladed
hornblende.
