A oval shaped piece of pumice. It is somewhat flattened and a creamy white colour with many small holes.
Pumice is a volcanic rock that is highly textured. It is ejected violently from volcanoes. It is the result of super heated, highly pressurised rock rapidly cooling and depressurisation after ejection from the volcano. Mt Taranaki has produced Pumice in past eruptions.
