Description
A long pūriri surveying peg which is narrow and quite eroded. One end has been sawn off and the other end has been sharpened to a point. A discoloured paper label with handwriting in sepia coloured ink is attached with two nails at the blunt end. " Puriri peg put in survey of Bell / Block by O. Carrington 1852 taken out / re survey of section 2 by T. G. Sole 1895 " is written on the label.
