The team are in three rows with five boys seated in front, Stella and four boys standing in the middle and five boys standing in the back row. They are all wearing sashes. The boy in the centre of the front row is holding a rugby ball with "Opunake Champs 1919" written on it. Behind the group there is an elaborate sutdio backdrop depicting an interior scene with a dark curtain hanging on the left.
