Object Detail

Agrotis infusa. A large sized moth. The forewings are a light-medium brown. It has 'eye' spots on the forewings. The hindwings are plain.

Species described by Biosduval 1838. Species comes from Australia and is blown across the Tasman sea. Does not breed in New Zealand though common in spring.
