Description
View of V Beach at Cape Helles on the Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. The beach is busy with many tents, sandbag walls and soldiers visible. There are small boats and dinghies at the edge of the beach. The large ship is the "SS River Clyde". The "River Clyde" was beached during the landing at Cape Helles and used as a quay and breakwater throughout the Gallipoli campaign.
