View of a deck on SS Asconius. Soldiers gathered behind a stack of wooden boxes are examining pieces of paper. Other soldiers, some in queues, are gathered around this group. A soldier at the end of the stack of boxes appears to be giving out bundles of what is presumably tobacco.
