William A'Court, Coach Building and Wheelwright Hawera
Description
William A'Court's coach-building and wheelwright premises in Hawera. There are nine men assembled outside the building, standing in front of four carts or wagons. There is a large building on the left with "1872 / Wm A'Court / Coach Builder & Wheelwright / Buggies Trimmed and Printed" painted on the front. On the right is a two-storey building with three windows along the top and elaborate embellishments above three posts supporting an awning. The cart on the right has a sign for "T.H. Foy & Sons", a local butcher.
