 Description
Left to right: groomsman John Sydney Hickey, groom William James Wright, bride Stella Regina Wright (nee Hickey) and an unidentified bridesmaid. Stella was the daughter of John Cornelius Hickey and Honora (Hannah) Hickey (nee Stack). She was head teacher at Opunake School until her marriage. The wedding ceremony was held at the Catholic Church in Opunake on 6 July but the photograph is recorded as having been taken at Te Poka Road in Rahotū.
