Copy photograph of a group of 30 officers from the 43rd Regiment in 1866. The officers are all in military uniform with all but 2 wearing hats. They are positioned in front of a brick building with some of the men sitting on the entrance stairs. The photograph is included on page 33 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
