Multi-coloured relief print depicting Mōkau, North Taranaki. The print gives an aerial view of the area around the mouth of the Mōkau River. The State Highway 3 road bridge is visible in the lower left corner of the print. Houses and other buildings dot the land. The scene is rendered in blue, green and grey inks with touches of red, white and purple. The print is part of Carter's road series for which he would walk along a road with his sketch pads and make drawings recording the shapes and features of the land. The many drawings were then condensed into single artworks that give composite aerial views of the journey.
