Description
Oval-shaped copy photograph of Captain James Francis Daubeny, 18th Regiment. Daubeny (1838-1912) is shown from the chest up wearing a light toned jacket with darker shoulders and a spotted tie. He is turned towards his right. Daubeny has a moustache and full sideburns. The photograph is included on page 29 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
