Copy photograph of James Henry, 18th Regiment. Henry may be a James Henry who also went by the alias Robert Chartris and was a deserter from the New Zealand Wars. He is shown in a three-piece suit standing next to an elaborately carved piece of furniture with his left hand resting on it. There is a chair partially visible to his right. The photograph is included on page 28 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
