Description
Copy photograph of Captain Thomas Charge Wray, 18th Regiment. Wray (1834-88) served in New Zealand in 1866 and Egypt in 1884. He is shows from the chest up wearing a suit with a bowite. He has a thick moustache and full sideburns. The photograph is included on page 28 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
