Milk tankers around South Taranaki would have once proudly worn these evocative stickers, when the Egmont Co-Operative Dairy Company was the main milk company in the area. The Egmont Dairy Company was established in 1974 with the amalgamation of four South Taranaki companies. Egmont itself was eventually amalgamated into a larger company, when it joined Moa Nui in 1989.

David Knapman was the maintenance manager for the Egmont Dairy Company, and in 1983 he and his wife purchased the Pihama dairy factory. They turned the factory into a residential home, and David kept numerous souvenirs like this sticker of his time at the Egmont factory at their repurposed home.
