Copy photograph of Lieutenant G.B. Haines, Captain James Francis Daubeny (1838-1912) and Captain R.W.E. Dawson of the 18th Regiment, 1868. The men are all wearing suits and are positioned in a studio setting with a curtain and table in the background. Haines is seated on a stool, Dawson is seated on an elaborately carved chair and Daubeny is standing in the centre leaning on the chair. The photograph is included on page 27 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
