Formal portrait of eight former presidents of the Taranaki Women's Club. The women are seated in two rows. Standing in the back row are Mrs D. Anstis (president 1975-1976), Mrs M. Mercer (president 1981-1983 and 1989-1990), Mrs E. King (president 1984-85), Mrs T. Petch (president 1986-1988) and Mrs I. Burn (president 1991-1992). Seated in the front row are Mrs G. Ormrod (president 1994-1996), Mrs I. V. Hills (president 1999) and Mrs N. Colson (president 1993 and 1997-1998). The photograph was taken in the Taranaki Women's Club clubrooms on Powderham Street, New Plymouth. Furniture is visible behind them.
