A set of 41 box ends, made of wood and painted black with white lettering. These were used on the front of the storage drawers which housed the Swainson and Woods Studios negatives.

Studios
negatives
came
in
to
the
Puke
Ariki
collection,
they
were
accompanied
by
these
box
ends.
These
plaques
were
used
to
label
the
ends
of
the
boxes
which
held
the
negatives,
and
helped
the
studios
to
keep
track
of
negatives
produced
by
surname
and
year.
