Extract from a review in the Opunake Times: "For the nautical number, the ballet appeared in blue and white tunics with with white reveres, white shorts and peaked hats. The three midshipmaids, Merla Morris, Elva Clouston and Kathleen Watt, wore white uniforms trimmed with gold braid and buttons, and peaked caps trimmed with gold braid."
