Description
View of a part of the Opunake railway line under construction. An engine is stopped on the partially constructed track and is emptying loads of soil to form a bank below the tracks. Several workman can be seen on the tracks and amid the train's carriages. Reinforcing walls of rocks and chicken wire are visible at the base of the bank of soil. A small stream and some scrub can be seen in the foreground.
