John Herbert Revell is the man in the photo, my grand father. He later went blind and I remember him when he lived with us in Wanganui. One day when I was about four he tripped over and landed on me so my mother insisted he need more care so he moved to the Aramoho Jubilee Home where my Dad and I would visit every Sunday and take him a bag of ‘Black Ball’ lollies. He passed away when I was about nine years old.
