Group of 26 Māori women and children gathered on the porch of a house, possibly on Arawhata Road in Opunake, likely for the tangi of a child with the last name Ratahi. The woman standing fifth from the left has been identified as Taunatapu Anni Rimene, daughter of Ngawaea Ratahi and wife of William Puri Roach, holding her daughter Mary Roach.
