Description
Ambrotype portrait of Mr Charles William Foote (1820-1862) housed in a leather case (without embossing) with a metal matt. The lid of the case is missing. The portrait is hand tinted on Foote's face, the bow tie and possibly his hands. Foote is leaning on a cane and has a pair of gloves in his other hand.
