Description
Hand tinted ambrotype portrait of Mrs Bennet Pascoe Perry (nee Mary Ann Masters). She is seated and is wearing a dress, shawl and bonnet. She holds a book in one hand. On the left of the image a piece of lace fabric rests on a table. Her face and hands have been tinted pink and the fabric around her hands have been tinted pink/purple. Her hair also appears to have been tinted. The portrait is surrounded by a plain gold metal matt and then has been housed in a wooden frame with a metal inner edge. A metal flower with hook is attached to the middle of the wooden frame.
