Description
A silver jubilee medal celebrating the reign of King George V. The obverse features left facing half length profiles of King George V and Queen Mary in crowns and robes of state. " GEORGE V AND QUEEN MARY MAY VI MCMXXXI " is marked near the outside. The reverse features a crowned GRI monogram. " MAY 6 1916 " and " MAY 6 1935 " flanks this monogram. The medal is attached to a red ribbon with two dark blue stripes and one white stripe at the edges with a simple ring suspension. It is held in a rectangular case marked with a crown and "1910" and "1935" is marked on it as well.
