A copper coloured metal medallion featuring Sir Matthew Wood. The obverse features a left facing profile of Sir Matthew. " D XVII THE R. HON. M WOOD TWICE L MAYOR OF LONDON MDCCCXI AND XVII THE RT HON M. WOOD " is marked around it. The reverse features a a seated figure (of justice?) wielding a sword and a figure with a mask shrinking away from them." INDIGENCE RELIEVED INNoCENCE PROTECTED CONSPIRACY DEFEATED / THE CAUSE WHICH HE KNEW NOT HE SEARCHED OUT / JOE " is marked on the reverse.
