Studio portrait of Elizabeth Faull (nee Elvins), wife of Richard Faull. Mrs Faull is seated and has one arm resting against a table covered with a tassled table cloth. A vase of flowers sits on the table. Mrs Faull is wearing a dress, gloves, a cloak and a bonnet. She is looking directly at the camera. A curtain is visible on the left of the image. Patterned carpet is partially visible. Mrs Faull arrived in New Plymouth on the "William Bryant" settler ship with husband Richard and their four children on 30 March 1841.
