"Fallen Deer"

Production date
Oct 2011
Description
A painting of a plastic deer lying on its side. The deer is casting a shadow and the angle of the deer's head creates the illusion of the deer kissing it's own shadow. The painting is predominantly rendered in browns, yellows, ochres, white and black. Paul Hutchinson began an ongoing series of paintings focussing on plastic toys in 1981.
