Godfrey William Sadler

He is wearing a pair of shorts, a jacket, striped leggings and boots. Several books are placed on the table behind him. Sadler arrived in New Zealand in 1888. He died on 18 May 1891 when he was kicked in the abdomen by a horse. His parents were Robert Stebbing Sadler and Alice Fanny Sadler (nee Ellis). He also had two sisters, Dorothy and Mary.
