Copy photograph of Major William Henry Gresson, 65th Regiment. The photograph is a bust portrait photographed in a round mat. Gresson is wearing a suit jacket and tie. He was wounded in battle at Rangiriri pā, Waikato, in November 1863. The photograph is included on page 21 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
