Description
Interior of Whites Ltd (then White and Sons). The interior is packed with merchandise including lace, bolts of fabric, men's shirts and ties and panama hats. Part of a label on a product is visible and reads " S. B. WHITE, DRAPER, DEVON ST., NEW..." A landing with wooden railing is visible through a gap in the textiles draped from the ceiling. A cash register is visible in the centre of the photograph. Two women and a man are standing in the curtained doorway at the back of the shop.
