A dress badge of the Most Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem. The round silver badge is fitted with a black enamelled front bearing a white Maltese cross interspersed with lions and horses. "MABEL LESTER / Inv 25th Sept 1960 " is marked on the reverse. It is attached to a black fabric bow.
