Description
A ceramic biscuit jar featuring a black and white transfer print of the Band Rotunda at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth and the New Plymouth Breakwater. The jar is pink, yellow and white and the handle is white with a black edged scroll at the top lip. " THE WHARF & BREAKWATER . ... NEW PLYMOUTH." is printed in black ink below the transfer print of the New Plymouth wharf on one flat side of the barrel. " PUKEKURA PARK. ... NEW PLYMOUTH." is printed in black ink below the transfer print of Pukekura Park on the other flat side of the barrel. " HOLLINSHEAD & KIRKHAM / TUNSTALL ENGLAND " printed in blue ink on the base of the barrel. Each line curves on the upper and lower inside edge of a circle with a unicorn at centre. " MADE. IN. ENGLAND / H.&.K / T." printed in black ink on the base of the barrel. The first line curves downward above a unicorn and the second and third line is straight and centred below the unicorn.
