A geological map of Opunake, Kaupokonui, Ngaire, Oeo and Waimate survey districts. Drawn by G.E. Harris compiled from data obtained from the Lands and Survey Department and from additional surveys by P.G. Morgan and M. Ongley of the Geological Survey Branch of the Mines Department. Produced to accompany Bulletin No. 29 Egmont Subdivision, Taranaki Division and Land District.
Contains information on the location of roads, tracks, trigonometrical stations, bush lines, swamps, railways, tram lines, waterfalls and dams, bridges and springs. Is colour coded to show recent deposits to land, upper pleistocene and lower pleistocene.
